Now Enrolling for the 2026–2027 School Year

We are pleased to offer enrollment in our Preschool Classroom (PS3) for the upcoming school year.

Our PS3 classroom is designed for children ages 3 and up and serves as the final stage of our preschool program before transitioning into Transitional Kindergarten (TK) or Kindergarten. The program focuses on fostering independence, social-emotional development, and school readiness through a play-based, engaging curriculum.

Eligibility:
Children who turn 3 years old by September 1, 2026 are eligible to enroll.

Enrollment:
Spaces are limited and filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

At a Glance…

SDCP is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that has been serving families since 1963. As San Diego's only parent/guardian cooperative preschool, we prioritize the strong, collaborative relationship between teachers, families, and children. In our cooperative model, parents/guardians actively engage in their child’s learning by volunteering in the classroom each month, fulfilling a school job, and staying involved in their child’s early development. Our Board of Directors is parent/guardian-run, and we value the ongoing collaboration between families and staff to ensure the highest quality care during these crucial formative years.

Who:

We care for children ages 6 months and up.

What:

A cooperative play-based preschool dedicated to providing an enriching experience for both children and their families.

When:

Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 5:30pm

We are a year-round preschool. Our school year begins the Monday prior to Labor Day and runs through the second week of August the following year. We follow SDUSD’s break schedule for closures.
