Hello, I’m Vicki Ozier, the lead infant teacher in room 111. I spent most my life here in San Diego where I’ve raised my two adult children. I received my Child Development Degree and a Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a minor in Mulicultural Studies. I have taken classes in Leadership and I hold a Site Supervisor Permit from the State of California.
I started working in this field in 1998. My passion for enriching children’s lives and watching them master their newfound skills have been highly rewarding to me. In this line of work, there’s always something new to see on a daily basis, I love learning from the children.
I’m blessed and excited to watch our youngest children at SDCP grow, play and explore. Our approach in our classroom is RIE based and we are excited to share this approach of respectful infant / toddler educaring with you. By giving a child the freedom to explore and play in a safe, caring environment, provides a child with the freedom to be themselves and develop at their own pace.
